Our Story
Wellington Funeral Home has been a pillar of the Port Maria community for over five decades. Founded in 1974, our funeral home began with a simple mission: to provide compassionate, dignified services to families during their most difficult moments.
Through the years, we have had the honor of serving thousands of families across St. Mary Parish, helping them celebrate the lives of their loved ones and find comfort in their memories.
Our team brings over 50 years of combined experience in funeral services. From 2010 to 2020, our current leadership gained invaluable experience managing a family-owned funeral home, learning the importance of personal attention and community connection.
In July 2021, we officially incorporated Wellington Funeral Home, beginning a new chapter while staying true to our founding principles: caring is at the heart of everything we do.
